茫漠たる揺らぎの中にいる。人間は正体のよくわからないものに対し、警戒心や不安感を覚える性質を持っている。名前の知らない植物に覆われた中身の見えないものに遭遇すると、不気味さを感じることもあるだろう。私たちの社会がそうであるように。この街では、空き家となった場所に、しばしば野生の植物が侵入し、時には建物丸ごと覆い尽くす。人もまた、そこを人の手で覆い返すだろう。その境界は常に揺らぎ動いているのだ。

 

TWe find ourselves in a world that is always changing. It’s normal for people to feel worried and uneasy when they face things they don’t know or can’t identify. When we see something hidden by strange plants, not knowing what’s inside, it can make us feel scared, just like how our society can make us feel. In Atami, wild plants often grow in empty places, sometimes covering whole buildings. Then, people try to take back these places, covering them again with their own hands. The lines between what is wild and what is controlled by people are always moving and changing.
